John....you are da man....thats the clip...some serious stuff going on there....and I don't just mean the technique....thats some real stream of consciousness beyond-the-fretboartd sort of stuff there....not just shredding. Its the real thing. I remember Joe not liking the attention last time....but bad luck buddy.....Joe, you are fantastic, and its a fact. I know my music....and I know a good musician when I hear one. For Joes sake, I'll lay off the praise, but I gotta say this....outside of Mr Lane and Mr Masi, I've never heard anyone just flow like that in spontaneous improvs without sounding like crap techncial wanking...it just sounds like music, and thats not easy to achieve at high speeds.

Those were two of the people who immediately came to mind when I heard that - it's floopin' awesome. They also happen to be my two favourite players and also without wishing to blow smoke up anyone's ass I haven't heard many players on that plateau.

Thanks guys...but stumbling upon a thread like this is ludicrous, especially since Mr. Shreekant is also a monster!

I will say...that these clips served their purpose for the time...but, in hindsight, they were all made about 4 years ago at least, with the exception of "Goodbyes", which is 2 years old...and as I'm sure you all know, it is very hard to listen to things you did a while back... after a certain amount of maturity has developed, or certain things about your style might have changed or improved...

The reasons why the material is scarce right now seem to be varied...but lets just say in the past I have let an abundance of less important things distract me from music. It seems that in life... if you want to achieve anything at all... you must have a sort of pointed focus... that can shut out everything around you...even when shit is hitting the fan. I can assure you... if you are willing to hang in there, there will be new things released soon...as I have been working on some tracks recently, and expect some videos in the near future also.
